Lately, we’ve been filming outdoors a lot. This time of the year is a great time, from a director and model perspective, to film some fantastic outside scenes for upcoming videos and photoshoots. It really surprises me, sometimes, that so many people have never even considered fucking outside. It’s so freeing and liberating in ways that being inside can’t even compare to. If you want to try it yourself, there are ways to stay safe and some tips that might help you out.

The biggest thing to remember is to go somewhere you won’t get caught. Make sure you find a spot where you won’t be seen by someone who can’t consent to see you naked. If they don’t know you’re there, they can’t consent. Make sure you’re not in a super public path with tourists or minors, especially. You don’t want some poor old granny rounding the corner with her ankle biters in tow and suddenly spotting you getting shagged from behind against a tree.

Once you’ve found a good spot that’s nice and private, think about your surroundings. For example, if you’re in the woods, you may want to bring bug spray or sunblock. No one likes mosquito bites on their arse or sunburned tits. Make sure no one is going to be impaled with thorns and there are no ant piles around that you’ll end up rolling in, too, unless you’re into that sort of thing. And please, if you’re going to the beach take a towel or blanket. Sand in your cracks is extremely unpleasant.

If you’re nervous about taking your date on a wild outdoors fuck session, make sure you dress for the part. Lose the underwear and ladies, wear a skirt or dress. The breeze feels nice, and you can get in and out a lot faster – pun intended.

However you decide to do it, make sure you go prepared with cleanup cloths and a blanket, or at the very least some water, because the thrill with have you blowing your load and becoming dehydrated in no time!

Anyone who has ever watched porn has seen some steamy action outdoors. Making that sort of magic happen can be risky and complicated, which is why most directors stick to recoding inside. When you’re shooting outside, there are so many small factors to consider.

The biggest risk is filming and getting caught. The idea of getting caught can be exciting so you have the thrill and fun of that mentality, but if you’re outside and there are a lot of hikers or tourists, you have to be careful to not have any unwanted “extras” appearing in your shots. If some random birdwatcher shows up during an exceptionally steamy anal shot, it means you’ve got to cut that part out and rerecord. There’s also the risk of having the cops called and having to deal with legal dilemmas is never fun.

Timing becomes everything in these situations. Where we are, it’s fucking freezing outside this time of year, but that means less people about. No one wants to go hiking or galivanting in the cold, they would much rather wait until the weather starts to warm up. Filming during colder weather, though, means less risk of interruption and more time spent filming great content!

The other thing we have to consider, especially here, is any wildlife. Snakes and spiders are not a prop we want to deal with, so we have to be careful to scope out the area really quickly before we start to set up.

Even with all of the risks and considerations, filming outside still has plenty of positive sides. The lighting is almost always perfect and the scenery in nature is something that is nearly impossible to replicate on set. There is a certain thrill you get from fucking outside, and that feeling is captured on camera and it’s something the viewers can see in the way the performers react to their environment. The fresh air combined with hot sex and a beautiful view are probably the best part of filming outside. I can’t wait to show you what I mean!

So many fans love seeing their favorite stars on camera getting intimate and wild while they’re in the throes of ecstasy. What most fans don’t realize is the amount of skill required behind the camera and everything that has to happen from a director’s perspective to make the magic happen in front of the lens.

For a model, directing is a whole new side of the industry. Besides keeping your clothes on, there are a lot of little things that are different from being in the video and having to adjust your mindset is a learning experience. There are so many technical aspects that you need to consider, like lighting and angles and chemistry and atmosphere. All these things come across to the viewers in ways that fans will notice if it’s not done properly.

When trying to find performers with chemistry, you have to take into account their comfort levels with each other while also making them feel comfortable on set. No one wants to watch a model getting railed when they clearly don’t enjoy the experience. Trying to maintain that comfort level and chemistry when also directing and making suggestions for positions can get confusing. Imagine trying to describe a specific way to position their body or hold their arms without that person being able to look at you or react to your voice. You have to figure out the best way to explain it while simultaneously not killing the mood.

Once you’ve got all the best shots, you’ve then got to edit the videos and make sure the sequencing and timing all make sense. It makes no sense to have the same thing appear from two or three different angles because then the video gets confusing. You’ve got to make sure you get all the sexiest footage and meld it together seamlessly in a way that makes sense.

Needless to say, the entire process can get convoluted with limbs in all sorts of weird positions while the camera is trying to capture the sex and passion and the lighting is adjusted to prevent a glare and everyone else is watching and waiting for the next direction. The process behind the camera is more extensive than anything that happens in front of the camera, but the hard work and the final product are worth every moment!

Where do you see yourself in the future? Everyone has goals, and adult film stars are no different. Personally, I look forward to working in the adult industry for the rest of my life, if possible! There are so many different aspects that go into making a good film, that I’ll be able to stick with it even 20 years down the road. I really love what I do, and I don’t want to give up the satisfaction I get from my job.

Planning for the future, and planning to reach your goals, you really must set definite goals and timelines for yourself. For my future, I have specific goals that I want to achieve, and I’m determined to make them happen.

In 5 years, I will be working full time in Europe or the US with a healthy website and an AVN win or two under my belt. For anyone who doesn’t know, AVN is the Adult Video News awards. They’re like the Oscars for the porn industry.

In 10 years, my production company will have expanded to Australia, Europe and the US with bases in all. I’ll have a house or two and a secondary business doing something I love doing.

In 20 years, I’ll be well established in the adult industry, my focus will likely be more on production and the backend of the industry at this point. I also want to be involved in the activism for the adult industry, and I want to see sex work decriminalized in first world countries including the US.

I definitely don’t foresee retirement for myself at any point. I’d be so bored!

These goals are completely reachable, and I can’t wait to achieve them and do great things in my lifetime. What are your plans for the future?
