Fisting
08/01/2022

Fisting can be terrifying for someone who’s never tried it before. If you’re keen to try it, though, it can be intriguing and it feels wonderful, once you’re ready for it!

My first time getting fisted, I felt so excited! I love having sex, and this was like a natural next step that just kind of happened in the moment. I didn’t plan it, and I was honestly quite scared to try it before then but getting fisted was fun and it was the wildest feeling ever! Parts of it were quite weird, in the beginning, but in a good way. I always thought I was too tight for a fist to fit inside me, and when it happened, it was just so exciting, and then I couldn’t wait to try it again and explore fisting even more!

If you want to try fisting for the first time, here are some tips:

-Stretch it out slowly. Whether you’re going in the vag or the bum, you don’t want to go into a tight little hole too quickly, so take some time to stretch it out. Start small with a finger, then two fingers, and so on. This can take multiple sessions and fisting probably won’t happen the first go round.

-Use lube. A water-based lube is better for sensitive skin and tends to be easier for cleanup later. There are actually lubes that are specifically made for fisting, so start with one of those. Anal play, whether fisting or on the smaller side, usually requires a silicone or oil based lube to be extra slippery.

-If you want to start with someone new, find an experienced fisting top and make sure they wear gloves. You don’t want an infection from your fun experimentation!

-Talk about your body, even when it feels uncomfortable. If you enjoy deeper fisting or shallower fisting, let your partner know. If you need a little extra foreplay, let them know that too! They are in this adventure with you, not against you!

-If you’re having trouble relaxing because you’re nervous, try having an orgasm first. Your entire body will feel relaxed, and you’ll be ready for taking the whole hand in no time!

-Lastly, if it starts to hurt, then don’t be afraid to stop. The experience should be pleasurable, not painful to the point of discomfort.

Hopefully these tips help you get more comfortable, and you’re able to have fun and enjoy it!
